They Can’t Take God from US

I love history and can remember very well some of the historical movies we were made to watch in school. I loved those movies and have watched them as an adult also.

In some of those movies you would see scenes with the Towne Crier. This was a man who was employed to go throughout town and kinda give the news. “10 o’clock and all is well”, “11 o’clock and all is well”. These men did this every hour on the hour so people could be informed and rest easy.

I would imagine the Towne Crier would get canceled in our modern age. The truth seems to be a closely held secret by both parties in our leadership and they do not want the truth known. We have hearings to get to the truth but it is just made muddier. The truth they hide is still truth though, and it will be brought to light.

Think about the Towne Crier passing by your house and saying “10 o’clock and we are taking your guns” or “11 o’clock and we are slowly removing your rights to your children”. Or even worse “It’s midnight and we are going to forcefully cancel your church services with a pandemic”.

We don’t need anyone to pass by our homes and shout these things to us because we know it’s happening. It seems every day something else is on the line to be either highly regulated or axed. As free people we have lost so much and even willingly gave up much for a little security or stimulus.

We see them taking freedoms. We see them making laws against us. We have seen them take our money and fund the mass murdering of babies. They want our cars, stoves, dryers, and water heaters. And if we don’t comply they will fully take our freedom by use of jail sentences.

I know some will say this is only conspiracy, but those people need only to look back to our recent past. And for a better picture look back into world history because what’s happening now is nothing new.

A glance into history will show just how much has been taken from people who seemingly never saw it coming and never would have believed it would happen.

We had our borders taken away, and this opened a large door for our children to suffer and have their lives taken by use of sex trafficking. Families have lost loved ones due to the extreme amounts of drugs coming in. Farmers have lost crops, people have lost jobs,and the list goes on. This goes for Americans and migrants, both are suffering terribly.

We have almost lost our right to free speech. I have seen pastors shut down and jailed for street preaching, losing their freedom. We have seen our children lose their innocence by means of LGBTQ and Critical Race to infiltrate their minds in school and social media. We are losing masculinity by letting the media and our leadership deceive people by calling it toxic. And we are losing mothers to corporations, telling them they need careers not families, and her place is not in the home and children are a hindrance to her.

The world can take all we have and in reality, we are too small to stop it. They will take what they want and we will get what they allow us to have. But for the believer we can be assured that they can’t take God from us.

All the freedoms granted to us by our Constitution may one day end but God is constant. His rule is forever and His people can never be removed from Him. If bibles are confiscated, God’s word abides in our hearts. If our churches are shut down we can worship Him where we stand. We are His and that can never change.

So like the Towne Crier in the old days we should be ready to inform the people. They may not like the news, but its still the news and everyone needs to know. The wrath of God is coming for the ungodly and He will serve justice. “It’s 9 o’clock, repent and believe the gospel”
